Made Of More

Once lived a cloud that was much different from the others in many ways. The cloud showed much Personification, as it helped put out fires by raining. The cloud separated from the other clouds at an early age. It then took off on its journey through the city of wonder. The wind could not demand it, creating a fabulous show for the humans, whirling and swirling about all day. Again the cloud floats off to sea, Up Up Up and Away. It's adventures didn’t stop there.

I like the way that the movie is very detailed. It had a great inspiring back story. I believe that any age could watch short film, from young to old ages. I give this short film a rating of 99/100 because… well… it was amazing! Full of character and freedom. I recommend this to anyone! It was astonishing!

Taking Flight

Taking flight is a movie about a little boy who has to get dropped off at his grandpa's for the day. He finds the old red cart that his dad used to use and loved when he was a kid. This movie is full of imagination. People who are instreast in action packed short movies will be amazed. Personally  I thought that this movie was a little  boring and for kids of a younger age group. I liked that the cart changed into a boat and then a plane.  This movie is for people around the age of 5-10 year olds, I give this movie a 3-5 because it was a cartoon and it was quite babyish. This movie is not the greatest movie i have ever seen.

Off they went, down the old dusty lane toward the forest. They look at the sign. It read the words ‘ Warning track not finished ’But Lani  And Macca Didn’t care. So down the gravel path they went. Then they realise...

...THAT they had been walking off track for 20 MINUTES!!!They both looked at each other and whispered ‘’Ho No!’’ “We are lost!” “This is not good!” Macca Cried.

‘’We need help!’’ Explained Lani. ‘’I think I brought my phone?!?’’ Mentioned Macca.’’I will call 111.’’ 2o minutes later their was a huge gust of wind. It seemed like it never stopped.It stopped.They look around and saw a big helicopter. Out climbed a man. He questioned “Do you need rescuing?’’ ‘’Yes!’’ Replied both girls.’’Hop in then!’’shouted the man. ‘’UP UP UP and way!”

What you need:

-Safety goggles

-Helmet

1 place your leg and elbow pads on so you look like a fat chicken.

2 buckle up your helmet so you look like a chicken waddling around.

3 put your gloves on so you look like a chicken gardner.

4 chuck your appropriate clothes because we don't want a naked chicken

5 open your doors so you don't get knocked out like a headless chicken

6 sit into your vee-hic-elll safely so you don't break your neck

Their now you're a safe daredevil!

How To Make Cupcakes

S.O.S: -To have a light and airy cupcake

      -To have 12 yummy vanilla  cupcakes

Introduction

Don't you remember being a kid when your mum had just baked a fresh cupcakes? You can again with this simple steps!

Ingredients

• 125 gms of butter
• ½ of sugar
• 1 t of vanilla essence
• 2 eggs
• ¼ of milk
• 1 cof flour
• 2 t of baking powder

What you need

• Large spoon
• Glass bowl
• Microwave
• Wisk
• Cupcakes molds
• Measuring cup
• Teaspoons
• Oven
• Cupcake tin
• Scales
• Knife
• Tea towel
• Sive

Steps

1 Grab your butter and put it into the bowl

2 Put your bowl into the microwave for 15 seconds on high

3 Put your tea towel around your hands and carefully take the bowl out of the microwave

4 Add your sugar to the mix

5 Whisk until light and fluffy

6 Crack an egg then stir in that one egg until well combined

7 Add the other egg and whisk well

8 Grab your sive and put your flour and baking powder though it

9 Stir and add your milk at the same time

10 Now you should have a thick mixture

11 Line your cupcake tin with molds

12 Evenly spread the mixture in the molds

13 Carefully put your cupcakes into the oven

14 Bake at 180’ for 13 minutes

15 Poke a knife into one of the cupcakes { if it comes out clean they are ready }

16 Put the tea towel around your hands and take them out of the oven

17 Wait for them to cool

Now you have the most best cupcakes ever!  

 

DIY BOTTLE CAP FIDGET SPINNER

S.O.S: -Use precise nouns

      -Descriptive verbs

      -Bossy verbs

What you need:

• 6 small bottle cap fidget spinner
• 1 skewer (a small skinny stick)
• Hot glue gun
• 1 pair of gloves so you don't get burnt
• Scissors
• 1 sharpie
• 1 screw driver
• 1 ruler

1. Get your screwdriver and ask an adult to poke a large hole in the middle of both bottle caps

2. Put on your gloves

3. Plug your hot glue gun to the wall

4. Gule both caps together  on the flat side, but make sure you don't glue the holes

5. Get your ruler and cut your skewer 3cm long. You may need help from someone older

6. Poke the stick in the holes in your bottle caps

7. Get the other 3 bottle caps and hot glue them on evenly around your caps glued together. You may want a older person to help

Their now you have a DIY fidget spinner!

WHY WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO COOK AT SCHOOL

Dear Mr Elder,

We should have more cooking opportunities at school. Cooking is a great way to reward yellow zone learners. We would have more freedom if you let us cook.Here are three spectacular reasons why we should be able to cook at Stratford Primary School.

Firstly,

Mr Elder,

When we  grow up and leave home we need to know how to cook, so we don't stave. You don't want your students buying disgusting fatty takeaways for lunch and dinner.Do you? I hope you don't! You want us to be successful in life  don't you?

Secondly,

Mr Elder,

Don't you think being in yellow zone is obviously a privilege? So why don't you let people in yellow zone do baking. Like I said before baking is a skill for life. People who can't bring lunch to school can have some of the baking that we do. On fridays it's the end of the week and everyone's tired.Yeah? Am I right? So It wouldn't hurt to take some time out of class.

Finally,

Mr Elder,

For me personally it would be a great time to learn about all the different cuisines like French foods, Spanish foods etc.I could name lots more.Don't you want us to learn about different cultures and what they eat? For an example I love Spanish food and I also love mexican food like tacos. Indian food would be a great one for us to study.

We are your hard working students! Above I have explained the three reasons why we should be able to cook at school. Yellow zone learners should be able to cook at school, when we grow up we need to know how to cook and learning about different cultures would be amazing for me. It would be thrilling to be able to cook. It would be extremely great to do this!IT'S UP TO YOU MR ELDER!

Why We Shouldn’t Have A Canteen At School

‘Ho no not the dentist again!’We should not have a canteen at school. I have three reasons why.

Firstly, I think we should not have a canteen at school because they will sell fatty foods like pies,pizza and hot chips. This encouraging kids like us to waste our own money on fatty foods. The amount of people getting more obese is amazing.

Over one year 10,000 people died because of having a heart attack which are caused by eating fatty foods.

Secondly,SUGAR IS NOT HEALTHY FOR US!At the tuck shop they will sell lollies like fruit bursts,gummies, chews etc.I've already been to the dentist four times now. I don't want to go again!The feeling of having a drill going through your tooth is revolting. This is why we don't need a canteen at school.

Thirdly, Don't you hate it when you're the one who forgot to bring their money?I do.People who can't afford to have something everyday will feel left out. This means they could be bullied by kids that can afforded it. It will get rubbed in their faces.That's not fair.Teachers will  have to sort out so many problems like bullying etc.

Finally, People who wanted a canteen said, ‘We could raise money for cancer.’ But that's not true! Because the lollies that they sell have yellow food coloring in them.Colour 102.Colour 102 has has something in it called tartrazine. This leads to cancer.It is against the law to use this in foods because it is a chemical!

I hope I have convinced you that we should not have a canteen at school.Above I have listed the reasons why...fatty foods,sugar and bullying.WE DON'T NEED A CANTEEN AT SCHOOL.This is the most unnecessary idea ever!

Dear Mum and Dad,

This war is making me petrified. I wish I could get out of this horrible place.I have seen five hundred people drown because our ship is to big to go into shore, so we have to swim with our heavy backpacks on.All I can hear is bullets going through poor people's bodies. Then five seconds after they have been shot I hear lots of deafening screams and cries saying, “Help please!” but I know that they know there is no one to help them because, we have a shortage of hard working doctors. There are no rules to this war so those Germans are shooting at us like we are little ants getting squashed.I am shivering with fear when I am writing this to you. There's practically no point in have this war because so many people are dieing. I would estimate that over 5000 people have died today. I hope I’m not one of them…

Mr d was calling out my name! I was so nervous.I feel the water it was FREEZING!I am slowly walking down into the clear water. I feel my heart freeze as I am walking into the water.My legs shaked with fear. My face scrunches up into a ball.My mouth opens and lets out a silent scream.I get out with my legs purple from the cold water.I run to get my towel.This is the coldest day of my life!
